Dad here with an update.
I didn’t come away from my Palm Springs trip feeling very good about things, life, porn, etc. So, I’ve dropped back for a bit to refocus and reassess what I want out of this adventure in porn. That’s given me an opportunity to work on myself, and address some of the critiques I received in California.
Some of the issues land squarely on my shoulders for not really knowing what to expect while there, not tightly managing my schedule, and expecting to connect with industry “friends” that unfortunately didn’t feel the same way.
I did come away with some good life lessons, I did receive some very healthy guidance, and surprisingly I made some really great new friends so there will be some more collaboration visits to the gay desert capitol.
I have decided, even as a senior citizen performer (over 30 in the gay world), that I’m going to try and continue to to thread the needle between subscription and studio porn, begin making appearances at gay/daddy/bear events, and get back to my goofball “Dadness” roots. I have collaborations and appearances on the books for May, June and July, so stay tuned, there is more to come.
