The books gave Matilda a hopeful and comforting message: You are not alone". The story emphasizes that while Matilda felt isolated by her family, her love of books provided solace and showed her she was not the only one with hidden depths and the desire for connection.

I was forceed to read books growning up because of this nonsense AR goals and u have to read to reach them. Get some prize but 5th grade you get free fancy food which was fun! I use to read so many books and story to understand the plots, struggles of the character and how the endings will be. Matilda I read the book & feel connection because her family was mean to her. Her mother, dad and brother. Father wasn’t mean to me until later on I realized he wouldn’t put me on his health insurance. The real truth. Didn’t care if I diee or need surgery, don’t want to be stuck with my bills if it was only temporary. Realized he protects an abuser. It all make sense.

4th grade I randomly read the book Matilda, she loves to read books like I did, sadly in 6 th grade I stop reading books because of depression and it wasn’t a requirement anymore which was good. She read book because she was depressed in school and at home. Same thing happen to me in middle I was depressed at both area. She read books to not feel alone. She help me not feel alone because family is evil n mean. She was sad at school too. One teacher miss honey change her life. Encourage her to do better and not be sad. It okay if family is very mean to you. You don’t have to be like them. Be yourself and do well without them.

Many adults and many other people understand how difficult my life and circumstances stand is and try their best to defend me and choose a better ending which won’t lead to injustice and death. Greatful for many people on here who buy my content to support my struggles and difficulties. Not to stalk and mock me and be snakes 🐍.
