Friday night I went to a new(ish) restaurant here in NOLA with a friend. It was a contemporary spot. Think elevated fare, small plates, craft cocktails, etc. Saturday was busier, per usual. I have two friends (a couple) who are moving to PR next month. I've known the male partner for years. He's a chef We've known each other since his infancy days of popping up here in New Olreans. Everything he does is fucking gold. Anyway, they had a huge sale to get rid of all their things + his last food pop-up. I bought a few books, a shirt, and food.
One of the books was "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance ." I immediately gifted to a friend who just had a bday. As soon as I saw it, I was like "ohhh he needs this."
So I swung by his place. We've both been seeing the same girl (she's sooo hot). & she was in bed sleeping at his. So the three of us cuddled and massaged each other for a bit. He has one of those massage guns. It was very sweet and intimate. Then, I got ready for a photoshoot with @recoiltay The third photoshoot this week! & had dinner with her afterwards at a Mexican & Caribbean cuisine fusion spot
Sunday I was supposed to pack for LA and Europe and clean in preparation for having family in this week. Buuuuut, I ended up going back to see my friends who are moving. Chilled, drank wine, ate food, shot the breeze. I did gt some groceries and pack a little bit but once the sun set yesterday I was *done.* The bed was desperately calling my name.
I've been completely overscheduled and overextended these past few weeks. I've decided to approach things at a more laissez-faire attitude bc I definitely can't keep up with my type A traits right now. It's a real *adjustment.*
