So I did one of those 23&me DNA tests to see if I could learn more about my ancestry, & I got my results this week...
89% African, 60% ish of which is west African, the rest being East African (I knew I had East African DNA bc my mom is Ethiopian). 10% European & less than 1% Native American & Asian.
So for all y’all asking my “ethnic background”, there ya go lol
