I stood by the window, the city lights flickering against the glass like they were watching me. The hotel room was quiet, too quiet, except for the soft rustle of fabric as I reached behind my back and unhooked my bra.
The straps slipped from my shoulders, slow and easy, and I let it fall to the floor like a secret. I stretched, bare and unbothered, the cool air kissing my skin.
I wasn’t in a rush. Nights like this weren’t meant for rules or rings or anyone’s expectations. Just me, the empty bed, and the promise of trouble knocking on the door before the night was over.
