Things have been going better so far this month. My ankle feels stronger by the week, and I'm officially allowed to get back to surfing - albeit carefully and with a brace. Yay! ððââïļ

Sam and I stayed in Cape Town for a few days and really enjoyed ourselves. How beautiful is that view of the mountain from our Airbnb!? â°ïļâĻ

We drank shitloads of red cappuccino, wandered around Kalk Bay (so much cuteness I actually can't deal). So many amazing shops, and I saw so many things I wanted to buy, but eventually settled on the little porcelain flower earrings in the 10th picture. Technically, they're a birthday present from Sam, but since my birthday is only at the end of the month, I had to beg to be allowed to wear them now! ðļ

Lastly, I planted some succulents I stole from my parents' garden in my not-so-slowly growing collection of pretty porcelain receptacles. I love how they turned out.ðŠī

Oh, we also hung some lights on our balcony, so it's super cozy when we braai. Now all we need is a few friends ð§ââïļ
