in May i quit my job and moved in with my partner. i was unemployed and doordashing for extra funds, but things weren’t looking great. my partners mother (who we lived with) flipped a switch as soon as i moved in. she went from an absolute sweetheart to the most evil person i’ve met in mere seconds.
but my pride was on the line here and i felt horrible leaving my partner there alone now knowing how bad it was. so i decided to make the best of it and hoped it would improve.
i still wasn’t able to eat much, but even if i were, we didn’t have the money to make it happen. i made do with everything at my disposal, so we didn’t really go hungry, but we weren’t living large to say the least. i was applying to just about everywhere, and thankfully by the end of the month i had a real lead for a job i thought i’d love
