One of our new rabbits broke her leg 4 days ago and it has been so stressful, constant vet trips back and forth. But we finally were able to get her sorted. Her back leg was fully gone by the time they could X-ray, there was no saving it unfortunately. She'd jumped out of her play pen and got her foot stuck when she was with her previous owner. In trying to free herself she's crushed most of above her knee and her hip so we had no choice but to amputate.
Luckily she's doing somewhat okay now we've got her home, she's eating and responding well, we've just to keep an eye on her now.
To cover the cost of her vet bills I'll be doing customs and discounted content, bundles and more, I'll make a separate post for that later ❤️
