🌧️ If I'm sad - my self-help checklist:
First I wrap myself in a plaid like a cocoon, turn on "that" clip from 2007 (you know what I mean 😉 ) and let myself just sit in silence - without trying to "cheer up quickly".
Then I go to the shower to wash away the sadness literally - the water takes away the bad mood along with the foam from my favorite vanilla scented gel 🚿 If I'm absolutely dreary, I doodle in my notebook or mold something out of clay (even if it turns out crooked, the main thing is the process!).
I always call that friend who can make me laugh until tears with stories about his failures. And also... sometimes I just eat cake straight from the container - life is too short for diets when my heart is heavy 🍰😅
