Not everyone has family to celebrate with this year and I want you to know you’re not alone, I see you 🩷 I hope regardless of circumstances you had a good day this year ☺️ personally, this is my second year celebrating without my family. The unfortunate truth is that it’s better without them but that doesn’t mean I don’t deeply miss them and wish things could be different. This holiday is bitter sweet for me as it’s my favourite, however growing up in an unsafe environment made celebrating the holidays extremely stressful and dangerous. Every year I would tell myself things will be better next year, or it won’t always be like this. Although my current circumstances aren’t perfect, they are much better than they’ve ever been. I had the pleasure of celebrating with @mason.mnro this year and it’s been wonderful so far. To be able to celebrate with a positive, safe person who cares deeply for me has made it a good day regardless of being away from my family. Things do get better with time, even if it doesn’t seem that way right now. I am extremely grateful to all of you for continuing to enjoy my content and allow me to be my true authentic self without judgement. Merry Christmas everyone, lots of love ~ Veronica 💋💕
