๐Ÿง  Why you shouldn't compare yourself to others

We all do it. We look at other people's successes, achievements, pictures on social media โ€” and start to doubt ourselves.

โ€œHe's already built a business,โ€

โ€œShe bought an apartment at 25,โ€

โ€œAnd me... I'm not there yet.โ€

Comparison seems natural โ€” after all, we are social creatures. But it often turns out to be a trap.

Here's why you should avoid it:

1๏ธYou don't see the whole picture

Behind every success is a story: failures, fears, sleepless nights. But social media only shows the cover, not the content. Comparing your reality with someone else's showcase is never to your advantage.

2๏ธEveryone has a different starting point

Level of support, health, experience, environment โ€” we are not on the same track. This means that both the pace and the route are different. Some people run marathons, while others climb mountains.

3๏ธComparison steals your focus

While you're looking around, you're wasting energy that you could be using to move forward. It's better to invest it in yourself: in growth, practice, steps toward your goals.

4๏ธYou are not them, and that's okay

You have your own path. And it has something that no one else has: your perspective, your style, your meaning.

๐Ÿ” Instead of comparing yourself to others, choose inspiration.

๐Ÿ’ก Instead of envy, choose curiosity: โ€œHow did he/she do that? What can I learn from this?โ€

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ Instead of racing, move at your own pace.

You are not late. You are going where you need to go โ€” at your own pace.
