my time in Connecticut was coming to an end and i was still directionless. i decided to visit the birthplace of one of my ancestors - that no one else in the family had visited before - and something finally snapped inside of me.
i spent that evening asleep in a Wendy’s parking lot in south Boston, before ultimately making my way back west. i revisited the city i initially tried to move to before heading back to my home state. Sept 10th 2018 was the day my husband left me - two years later it was the real start of my life as we know it now. i decided i was going to live my life to the fullest and follow my heart, and that’s exactly what i did.
