the summer raged on, and things got weirder. remember how i’d gotten married the year prior? yeah so… about that. we didn’t tell ANYONE that we’d gotten married. so surprise! we’re “engaged”! 🥲
wedding planning started immediately, and my life was completely consumed with venue research, dress research, you name it. the date was set for our actual anniversary the following year. i learned that even though i wasn’t really THAT big, none of the bridal boutiques in the area carried anything in my size. the experience was discouraging to say the least, but things seemed to slowly be getting better as i felt more secure in the relationship with a rock on my finger. until that point i hadn’t even been able to wear my wedding band consistently, so this meant everything.
in August i went whitewater rafting for the first and only time. it was a gift to my sibling, though sadly my husband refused to come with us. i was hurt and confused, but nothing would prepare me for what was about to come… not sure if y’all are prepared for this either 😈
*god i know this is a photo dump of a post and i’m sorry - no clue why i suddenly felt like jumping in front of the camera at that point in the year, but i’m at least happy to have more content to share, and i’m super stoked for everything that i’m about to be posting, you have no idea!! no spoilers but this is gonna be a great week (and it only gets bigger and better from here on out, i promise!) - also many of these are once again double-chin comparisons because insecure lol
